Trust me, it's not scary. It doesn't hurt. It's not just for hangovers. And you're going love it. IV therapy is something that was always on my list of things "to try." I had read about Meyers cocktails throughout my research and it just seemed that IV nutrition was the perfect solution for those with compromised digestion, malabsorption, and chronic illness.
Well, you know I'm not going to BS you. Virgin Hotels doesn't know who I am and in no way asked me to do this. I'm writing this Virgin Hotel Chicago review because I honestly HATE hotel rooms. I find them so disgusting in almost every way.
The urban + artsy River North area of Chicago is one of my favorites — and has a variety of options for gluten free eating. Let me begin this blog with my most professional food blogger sounding summary:
If you're familiar with Chicago, then you know Wrigleyville is, well, the area surrounding Wrigley Field. But I'm pretty sure you could figure that out even if you know nothing about Chicago. So, unfortunately, Wrigleyville isn't thought of as a mecca of healthy eating options. The area boasts a smattering of historical sports bars like Harry Carays, The Cubby Bear, Sheffields and John Barleycorn - all of which you should check out, but none of which will have anything healthy to eat especially if you have a restricted gluten or dairy free diet.
Lyfe Kitchen. Maybe you've heard of it. Maybe you haven't. Either way, I'm going to talk about it because it was one of the first healthy restaurants on my Chicago To Eat list. Self described as a "flexitarian" restaurant, catering to a variety of diets and allergy restrictions, you would have to be absolutely ridiculous if you couldn't find something to eat there.

If you've got food allergies, then you're in luck if you're headed to San Diego. The most crunchy of states has lots of options for gluten free and vegan eaters. I always do my research before I travel, and I come up with a list of options for all the different towns we'll be in — it saves so much time and stress. So I hope this guide will be helpful to any of you traveling to San Diego who might be looking for some stellar healthy + allergen friendly options.
Sooooo, there aren't a ton of dining options in the hi-desert. I recently visited and before you go— definitely check out my Joshua Tree Travel Guide. Or as I like to refer to it, a list of the most instagramable spots. But luckily for you, there's actually quite a few healthy spots that make gluten free eating slightly easier. So let's go over your options of places right near the park.
Joshua Tree National Park is 790,636 acres — which is larger than the state of Rhode Island. So, you could explore this park forever. But, assuming you don't have forever, we're going to talk about the best things to see in Joshua Tree Park in one day. Let me just warn you, it'll blow your mind. It's like being on another planet. Also, Joshua Tree = Yucca Valley. Joshua trees are technically Yucca trees, in case that has confused you already in your research.

There’s only one legitimate problem with Charleston: you’re never going to want to leave. It is an absolute must-visit if you love history, Southern charm (not just the TV show but that too) great food, and a small town vibe with all the advantages of a big city. For crying out loud, its been voted #1 US city like 5 billion years in a row.

My first visit to Anna Maria Island was last year, but my brother has a second home down there so we definitely got to explore the island from a local perspective which was amazing!

Listen, I don’t care if you live down the street or five states away — you need to get yourself to the Hotel Goodwin and stay awhile. Located in downtown Beloit, Wisconsin, this boutique hotel was inspired by the 19th century Goodwin House, and is full of unexpected, chic surprises.
Did you even know that holistic facials existed? Ok, good, so I'm not the only one. Let me tell you—they are life-changing and unlike any other facial you've had, it's a Brit guarantee.
